由美国肯塔基州路易斯维尔的海军军械研究所研制的MK19式40mm自动榴弹发射器。研制工作始于1966年7月，1967年初研制成功，命名为MK19-0式40mm榴弹发射器。1970～1971年 ，美国海军推行生产改进计划，改进后的产品命名为MK19-1式，并把600多具MK19-0式改造成为MK19-1式。
