CHICAGO (CBS) -- During spooky season every year since 2021, CBS Chicago has been exploring tales of ghosts, hauntings and the paranormal around Chicago, with a dose of Chicago history along with it.

The Halloween spirit is alive and well this spooky season, but some states across the U.S. may be "more haunted" than others. BonusFinder, an online database, ranked all 50 states and Washington, D.C.

Now that Paranormal Activity 7 is finally in the works, director Ian Tuason promises fans will love the next spooky chapter.
