Verizon has completed a real-world field test of its fiber-optic FiOS system in which it pumped nearly a gigabit of data per second from one lucky customer’s business out across the Internet.

After conducting a speed test, I found our speed dipped to 76Mbps in downloads and 19Mbps in uploads. This area is the farthest from my router, so it only makes sense that the signal is weaker.
