Samsung has announced that Perplexity will work inside core and third-party apps as an AI agent, starting with the Galaxy S26 series.

Samsung plans to rely on a “multi-agent AI ecosystem” and, in addition to Bixby and Gemini, also integrates Perplexity. It even gets its own hotword.

Samsung has added Perplexity AI to upcoming Galaxy devices with the 'Hey Plex' voice hotword, creating a multi-agent ecosystem alongside Gemini and Bixby.

Perplexity will be deeply embedded in core Samsung apps, including Samsung Notes, Clock, Gallery, Reminder, and Calendar, as well as select third-party apps.
