The National Weather Service has issued a High Surf Warning for north and east-facing shores of Kauai and Niihau.

The flood advisory for Kauai has been canceled. Radar around 8 a.m. showed the heavy rain has eased as the cold front continues to move east of Kauai, according to the National Weather Service.
