One person died and another sustained critical injuries after a train struck them in West Palm Beach on Saturday.

The crash Sunday near Fort Lauderdale was the second fatal crash in two days along the Florida East Coast railway tracks, after one in West Palm.

A driver was able to safely exit their vehicle before it was hit by a train in northwest Harris County on Thursday.

The driver was putting on snow chains when the train approached.
