MEMPHIS, Tenn. — It's a mild and breezy start to the day with passing clouds. Temperatures this Wednesday afternoon are expected to rise into the upper 70s, near 80 degrees, across the Mid-South.

Another warm day ahead with highs nearing 80 and record highs being challenged. I think tomorrow is the best bet for setting a new record high. Wednesday we “Tied” the record high of 81 for Memphis.
