Mark Evans, 65, died after being trapped inside an rural East Peoria duplex fire early Monday, and the cause of the fire is still being investigated.

A person’s death in Creve Coeur on Tuesday is under investigation by the Illinois State Police and Tazewell County Coroner’s Office, with an autopsy to be held on Wednesday.
