On Friday at 3:42 a.m. EDT the National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning in effect until 8 p.m. EDT for Emmet, Cheboygan and Charlevoix counties.

On Friday at 1:50 p.m. a winter storm warning was issued by the National Weather Service valid from 5 p.m. until Saturday 11 a.m. for Wyoming, Cattaraugus and Erie counties.
