An entrepreneur who built a global engineering business from the back streets of Colne has died aged 88, his company has announced.

Ted Fort, the Lancashire engineer and entrepreneur who founded Colne-based manufacturer Fort Vale Engineering and built it into a global leader in industrial valves, has died aged 88.
