This Giant Angora rabbit wanted to enjoy the whole view during his shearing. Usually the rabbits are content to sit still, but this is an example of one who wanted to move around more and was free to do so. The Giant Angora rabbits always appreciate a mid summer shearing. A rabbit as large as Daphne will produce around 8oz of fiber in a single shearing, and Angora is 7 times warmer than sheep’s wool. Because of this Angoras are quite heat sensitive and need to be monitored closely when kept outdoors.
