PCI Bus Explained
Today, Dr. Abhishek Shukla explained the medical rationale and procedure behind performing angioplasty in patients experiencing a heart attack (myocardial infarction). During a heart attack, one or more coronary arteries become blocked, cutting off the blood supply to a portion of the heart muscle. As a result, the affected heart muscles begin to die due to oxygen deprivation, leading to the severe chest pain known as angina. The first step in management is performing an electrocardiogram (ECG)
