A look at my itinerary map making process using QGIS and Photoshop. I use QGIS to generate a base map highliging the ports of call which are plotted base on coordinates from my database. Then in Photoshop, I create the route lines and add in ship images to represent sea days and help show the sailing direction for each voyage. In cases where there are no sea days and the port order is not clear, i will add small arrows along the route lines. | The Disney Cruise Line Blog
