Manistee River Trail Backpacking Guide

Continuing on my wet bottoms/Elijah Oliver loop hike. This path is not part of the Wet bottoms trail but is a path hikers take to avoid crossing Abrams creek. I'm using this trail as part of the loop hike. It goes right along the banks of the creek. A good place to look for deer and even river otters. Otters were released into these waters in the early 1990s to re-establish them back into the Smokies. More than 100 otters were released throughout the park. #cadescove #smokymountainsnationalpark
