This is Wire Laser Additive Manufacturing (WLAM) visualized using Cavitar Welding Camera C300. The process prints metal in 3D by using laser processing with the CoaxPrinter head from Precitec Ltd. The material used in this specific case was stainless steel, wire diameter was 1.2 mm, feed rate of 2 m/min, wire feed 0.8 mm/m, and the melt pool temperature is rated at 1800°C.
