The Framingham Public Library's beloved pet turtle, Winifred or Fred as she’s more commonly known, was recently adopted on Thursday, June 5 by the Friends of the Framingham Library First Lady Robin Kaye officiated the ceremony, which was also attended by Library Director Dawn Dellasanta, Library Trustees Chair Ruth Winett, Library Trustee Jenny DeArcangelis, Friends of the Framingham Library members Roxana Camporeale, Emily Olson, and others.
