It was so wonderful to welcome 'Peggy the pilot cutter' here at Watchet Marina, successfully arriving on a neap tide. Peggy was built in 1903, with a draft measuring 7ft 6inches. The Pilot cutter would have been a vital part of Watchet's heritage, used to bring goods in to the harbour from large cargo ships in the Bristol channel.
