Preserving Gullah Geechee culture

The Gullah language is rooted in West African dialects, woven together from several tribes who were brought to the coastal South. It became a shared way to communicate. A blend of English and African languages that carried both survival and identity. A code outsiders couldn’t understand, but one that kept culture, memory, and connection alive.
