Separations are common around pool plumbing penetrations. They can sometimes be hard to detect but normally easy to fix. In this case I chipped out around the pipes with a flathead screwdriver and a mallet to remove any loose material. Then cleaned out the area with a wire brush and sealed it up with hydraulic cement.
