Carved this piece in Lake Lure, NC earlier this week! We first talked about an eagle with USMC symbolism, but ended up creating a couple bear cubs to match a big bear I carved on the property a few years back. Built a 360° deck around the stump for stability—those big chunks coming off can shake everything.
