When Khaolak Merlin Resort opened back in 2003, the idea was simple. Keep the land as natural as possible. We built around the trees instead of cutting them down, so the forest and its wildlife could stay right where they belong. Only about 60% of the land was developed. The rest was left for nature to thrive. That’s why our pools feel like jungle lagoons, waterfalls flow through the greenery, and you’re always just a few steps from both the rainforest and 190 metres of beautiful Khao Lak Beach.
