The active monsoon continues across most of northern Australia, with widespread rain, thunderstorms, and flooding. Ex-Tropical Cyclone Ellie continues to bring more intense rainfall to the Kimberley. Broome saw very heavy rainfall and gusty winds last night, with 206 mm recorded in the 24 hours to 9am AWST, and a 94 km/h wind gust recorded just after 3 am.
