Preparing the 10×15 Chandler & Price jobbing press for a press run. Howard is using black rubber base ink to print some posters that include an image of himself. This is the standard way to apply ink to make sure an even layer of ink is on the ink disk and rollers. Once an even layer is established, then the form is placed on the bed of the press and printing can commence.
