This was made out of a sheet of 300x500mm steel plate that was 2mm thick but 1.5mm would have been closer to original. After completing a complex repair to one corner of the 1989 Talbot Express Bonnet I continued around the rest of the panel, completing a simpler repair to the other front corner, then the middle of that structural box section and a slimmer span on the back. After welding in hand made pieces with my welder from E Fox Engineers Ltd I then spray painted it with epoxy primer from MicksGarage.com. | Vantage Point Video Garage
