Putting my magnetic hub back on after centre tapping my star point to give me 3 phase and neutral from this old washing machine motor which I now use as a generator hub. After a little fiddling I get the hub past the brackets the hub sits on splines on the shaft and slides on without the use of aluminium spacers. I usually use the spacers to hold the magnets away from the laminates and leave a air gap big enough so the magnets can pass the coils. This in itself is a tricky enough job and I will
