Some rare footage of a wolf chasing a deer from this summer. The wolf was not successful and quickly gave up, which is not surprising as wolves very rarely kill adult deer during the summer. The wolf chasing the deer was the breeding male of the Shoepack Lake Pack and the rest of his pack was in tow, including two pups.
