🖤 Adorable juvenile Nanday Conure 🖤 This little guy is the one that was brought into the Treasure Coast humane society from Animal Care & Control. He was found injured and is a feral juvenile. Because of the injury he is much calmer than a normal, feral bird would be, and he is also on pain medication, which calms them down somewhat. Being that he is so young we are hoping once his wing feels a little better we can start handling him more and work with him to become a more social bird with hum

Nanday conure parakeets having a conversation this morning in Newbury Park. Mostly descendants of escaped or released cage birds, these parakeets now flourish in the temperate climate of Southern California.
