One of the most common elbow fractures I see is a radial head fracture. If it is non-displaced, it can generally be treated non-operatively. If it is displaced and there are three fragments or fewer, I try to fix it. If there are more than three fragments, replacement is often the best option. In this case, there were more than three fragments with distal fracture line extension into the radial neck, so long stem radial head replacement was selected. The patient was allowed to do early gentle el
