The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Altadena Sheriff’s Station, hosted the “Adopt a Faithful Friend,” Pet Adoption Event in partnership with the Pasadena Humane Society. This event was open to the public and aimed to help pets find permanent, loving homes while strengthening community engagement and supporting public safety. One pup didn’t have to wait long. Sheriff Luna will announce the results of Operation Reclaim and Rebuild, an extensive, weeklong statewide crackdown on human trafficking. Through the collaborative efforts of California law enforcement and the Los Angeles Regional Human Trafficking Task Force, hundreds of suspects were arrested and adult and juvenile female victims were safely rescued.
