Falconry hoods…an amazing tool for both falconry and rehabilitation. Falconry has been around for thousands of years, and the equipment used in falconry has been refined over the years and is still in use today by falconers, rehabilitators, and educators. Hoods, one type of equipment, is a very important tool as covering a bird’s eyes keeps them calmer and less stressed. As a falconer, rehabber and educator, I love when the paths cross over and demonstrate the mutual benefit to the bird for work
