48K views · 526 shares | On this day in 1983, the Red Sox held “Tony Conigliaro Night” at Fenway. The 1967 “Impossible Dream” team reunited on the field. Tony, a Revere native, had been a part of that team and was severely injured that year when he was hit by a pitch.
