Supreme Court rules on I-T reassessments under Section 148: Key verdict explained
The apex court ruled that reassessment notices under SEction 148 for AY 2016-17 and 2017-18 are invalid. For AY 2013-14 and 2014-15, the court held that TOLA applies. This means reassessment notices issued between April 1, 2021, and June 30, 2021, are within the allowed time frame.
