Shortly after Eagle Scout Troop No. 146 led the Pledge of Allegiance at this morning’s Board of County Commissioners meeting, the Commission proclaimed today as Scouts of America Appreciation Day. The troop then demonstrated the proper way to fold a flag and presented this short video about new Flag Collection boxes that were installed with the help of Manatee County’s Property Management team.
