Upcoming amputation. I went in for my pre op appointment. I was able to see what my hand will look like once my finger is removed. I was scared, nauseous, and on the verge of tears. This is new to me and I don’t know anyone who has gone through the same procedure. I am alone in this. For that I rely on my doctors. I walked out with a pep in my step. His calming presence was reassuring is what I needed. Is that what it feels like to have a dad? Make you feel better when you’re scared? #theoneando
