This animated photograph from the University of Hong Kong’s archives brings a lost view of Caine Road in the early 1970s back to life. The prominent building at the center is the former Police Married Quarters, located at 154-158 Caine Road. When the University of Hong Kong established its Department of Law in 1969, it found its first home here due to a lack of space on the main campus. For about four years, from 1969 to 1973, this building housed Hong Kong’s first law school and its library bef
