I’ll never understand the aversion to using a crate with a dog, especially when we use cribs (crates without a top) for children. The goal is to have as least amount of bad habits, chewed furniture, and potty accidents as possible. This is where restricting the amount of rooms your dog has access to is very helpful, and as much as I hate stepping over baby gates, they are essential! What if your puppy whines a little when they are in the crate? Breathe. It’s okay, and they are going to be okay.
