❄️ January is the perfect time to check ORF (oral reading fluency)! How do you know if your child is reading on grade level? A fluency check is a great place to start! 👀✅ 1️⃣ Use Project Read’s Fluency Passage Generator to create a cold read (a passage your child has never seen before). 2️⃣ Choose your child’s grade level and set the word count (If your child has finished Grade 1, go over 100 words in the passage.) 3️⃣ Print the student copy and evaluation sheet. 4️⃣ Set a timer for 60 seconds.
