The Joint Anti Gang Task Force launched a major early morning operation in the Mountain View area of St. Andrew Targeting Guns, Gunmen and Gangs, to disrupt criminal activities in the space. Two Gang Leaders, who were the primary targets of the operation, have been arrested. One of the men, Richard Higgins otherwise called ‘Bob’, was named on the National Wanted Person list. Action by members of the Provincial Anti-Gang Unit in Bloemfontein has led to the arrest of three individuals for possession of suspected stolen property in two separate incidents. In the first incident, members of the Unit received an intelligence led information about a residence in Bochabela, Bloemfontein, used to store stolen electronic devices at about 13:20.
