Kirchhoff’s Current Law (KCL) explained in 1 minute. KCL was first introduced in 1847 by the German physicist Gustav Robert Kirchhoff, and it is a direct consequence of the law of conservation of charge. KCL states that the algebraic sum of all the currents at any node in a circuit equals zero.
