PICO-ROBERTSON - On August 11, 2025, LAFD responded at 10:47 AM to a structure fire in a six-story residential building on S. Elm Drive in the Pico-Robertson area. Flames were visible from a fourth-floor balcony, prompting a request for additional resources. Firefighters rescued a 94-year-old woman with minor injuries after receiving reports of a person trapped in an adjacent unit. A second patient, a 54-year-old man, was also located; both were in fair condition and transported to the hospital.
