A quite dramatic colour change made this chemistry experiment really mesmerizing for Alex. After blending a few red cabbage leaves I poured purple cabbage juice into glasses. I added a little too many leaves, so I had to add more water to glasses for clearer colours. Then Alex started adding lemon juice, vinegar, baking soda and washing powder to separate glasses, leaving middle glass untouched.
