When I first started living a zero waste lifestyle I felt like I had to eliminate ALL my trash to justify the label. I was scared of calling myself an environmentalist because I didn’t feel worthy of the title. But I care about the environment and the people who inhabit it - I’m an environmentalist. Composting is a great way to turn food waste and yard waste into nutrient rich material for your garden or house plants.
