First fig tree of the season to get it's own pot with actual potting soil! I use a peat moss mix for roughly the first 1.5-2 months of their life while their root systems develop. The nutrients and natural bacteria in potting soil are great for plants with roots but can encourage rot when you are starting cuttings.
