In Irish mythology, the Morrígan is a goddess of transformation, sovereignty, and prophecy: moving through wild landscapes and battlefields and guiding the passage between life and death. She is most famously associated with ravens, appearing as a crow on the battlefield to signal fate, warning, and change. She is also closely linked to wolves through Irish myth and symbolism.
