Finding the value of the load resistance that will draw maximum power from the circuit feeding it. To solve a maximum power transfer problem, we find the Thévenin equivalent circuit with respect to the load. For maximum power transfer, the load resistance must match the Thévenin resistance of the circuit. Usually, we would get this by finding the equivalent resistance of the circuit as seen by the load, replacing Independent voltage sources with short circuits and independent current sources wit
