Heather was severely injured in a motorcycle wreck earlier this summer. She's now back behind the handlebars, thanks to the Adaptive Sports & Adventures Program (ASAP) at Atrium Health Carolinas Rehabilitation. ASAP offers “outside the hospital” experiences along the Little Sugar Creek Greenway for current and former rehabilitation patients. Together with our physical therapists, the supportive community can enjoy handcycling and other adaptive sports, and meet others with similar rehabilitation
