340K views · 7.6K reactions | Mesh tape is not my favorite - it’s not as strong as paper and is prone to cracking but it has its place. We use mesh for broken rock, over routered boxes, tub surrounds and patches. If you are using mesh please DO NOT use it in angles and make sure you use it with Easy Sand aka hot mud.
