Fresh Habitat Alert! In December, our Inland Fisheries team partnered with Caswell Gameland technicians Joe England, James Thornton and Tyler Blackstock to drop fresh woody attractors into six piedmont lakes. Large wood in shallow water creates prime fish habitat, and many are marked with signs so they can be easily spotted. This wraps up a major effort that started in 2021. Since then, staff from Districts 3, 5 & 6 have fallen 90 trees across 13 waterbodies, from the Yadkin Chain up to Mayo Lak
