Just a little update! We’ve been working on making our system for placing items a little more intuitive and I thought these clips were so satisfying. Originally (top clip) our algorithm would place the item in the first available space it found. This sounds simple enough, but in actuality it would sometimes make it impossible for the player to place items in certain spots, as you can see in the video. The fix (after) is surprisingly simple, we added a slider that allows me to set a ‘stickiness’
