What if it’s not ultrasound you hate, but where you’re doing it? Yes, you’re allowed to change your mind after all the schooling and decide it’s not for you, but remember, there are still so many paths in this career that don’t involve direct patient care!! You can teach ultrasound, move into applications or sales with companies like GE or Philips, and explore so many other options! I definitely recommend a hospital as your first job, but if it’s draining you, it’s okay to move on- hospital life
